Frontwoods Primitive Tentsites
The Frontwood tentsites may be replaced in 2013 by Cozy Cabins.  We are not currently taking reservations for these sites pending that decision.  We recommend the Backwoods Primitive Campsites as an alternative.
We have an 4 primitive tent sites (no water/no electric)  that are walk-in sites similar to the Backwoods tent sites, but are closer to where you can unload your vehicle. These sites are also  wooded, but are closer to the main road and the front buildings. All 4 sites can be booked together to accommodate groups up to 24 people. Each site has a fire ring, lantern holder, and picnic table.  Bathhouse privileges (hot showers/flush toilets) are included.  The Frontwoods sites are sites F1 - F4.

  • $15/night for up to 6 people (max)
  • Fire ring and picnic table at each site
  • Bath house privileges (showers, toilets, etc)
  • No electric, no running water at sites
  • Approximately 50 foot walk on wooded path to sites
  • Approximately 100 yards to bathhouse
  • 25% discount from November 1 through March 31st.  
  • 10% discount for stays of 4 nights or more
